Channeling the Muse
Hosted by Opeyemi Parham
"Channeling the Muse" is a mind, body, and spirit radio experience hosted by a woman who considers herself a feral physician. Though she practiced as a conventionally trained allopathic family doctor for over twenty years, she now works as a clerk in a local health foods store. Opeyemi continues to pursue her vocation of medicine woman, using natural herbs, health education, and ceremony, having evolved beyond the constraints of her allopathic training. In her spare time, she sings, dances, and Speaks Truth to Power through her website (www.ceremonyheals.com) and this radio show. She is beginning a ministry, called the Temple of the Healthy Spirit, dedicated to health education and personal empowerment.
"Channeling the Muse" airs Fridays & Sundays at 6PM.

Pierre Power Hour
Hosted by Pierre Benoit
The Pierre Power Hour is split up into two seperate hours, both equally as powerful. The first hour primarily focuses on live rock n' roll (jam band) music, mostly from the 60's and 70's. This includes a lot of Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, and The Doors. Don't be confused by the big names, this isn't stuff you hear on the classic rock radio stations all the time. I play only live and obscure tracks. The second hour is many styles of music: Reggae, Blues, Bluegrass, Underground Hip-Hop, and some old Country---only the greats.
